Farewell Sweet Milo

The science lab has fallen silent today.  Milo went to see Wimbley and Marty in Heaben this morning.  He fought hard against his ailments, but they won out. We were there with him, smothering him in love all night long. His final request was for the science to go on – he is asking for your help to make sure it continues.  He told us he will work on a special trabel juice to get from Heaben to bisit us.  I know Wimbley and Marty were happy to see him and they are together again, but our hearts are still hurting.

We will never forget you little man, and I’m glad you will have Hype in Heaben to talk to us, but it’s just not the same.  I will neber forget all the adbentures and fun we had together.  We lub you foreber. – MM

I am so very, very sorry for your loss! When we lose our babies, it’s like a little light leaves the world with them.
Every single rattie we’ve ever had is etched into our hearts. Their names tattooed into our souls forever.

Milo was a sweet boy. He goes on to join some of the most amazing ratties the world has ever known.

Words cannot convey the sorrow I feel right now. I hope that you know how much of a difference your little boy made in the lives of so many!

I used to raise mice (a million yrs ago), and have fallen in love with all your friends’ “adbentures”. I am crying as I know how hard it is for us to relinquish our furry little friends to eternity, but know they are not suffering. God speed Milo! We will carry on in your stead!

I’m sure all your science-stuff cleberness will mean that you and Wimbley and Marty will find it even easier to send “hai’s” and all your news to us… because you know we’ll be waiting to hear from you … and ob course we’ll all be sending extra speshul lub to Fibbs because he’s going to miss you such a lot (you and Wimbley were such a help with his Pressidenshul bizness) but I’m sure you’ll be able to help him still – and we’ll make sure he gets lots of lub too…. (and we’ll look out for your Mom and Dad – because they must hab the biggest sad of all right now).
Trabel Well Darling Milo – and I promise we’ll make sure the “science stuff” carries on down here xxx

I am truly and very, very sorry for your and Fibb’s loss. I have owned many rats and I know the pain when they go is cruel. I have a girl now who is the same age as Fibbs, and I fear for the day that she will leave me.
The only comfort is that we know they had a wonderful life, the best any rat could have and they were happy and loved.
    Kiss Fibbs for me <3

Oh no, such sad news to hear!!! I’m so sorry. Sweet Milo. 🙁

Milo and Wimbley, please take care of each other along with Marty and watch over Fibbs! Poor Fibbs must feel all alone. Will he be getting new rat friends so he doesn’t get lonely? My rat, Mr. Grumps, outlived his three brothers, and he seemed so sad after they all traveled to the Rainbow Bridge and left him behind. I found new friends for him, and his mood really picked up after that. Mr. Grumps outlived his brothers by about year… made it to almost 3 and a half years old, so I was very glad he had ratty friends to keep him company during that time.

Oh no! This is terrible news! I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you all. I have no words. ;-(

My beautiful sweet David went to heaven the same day, so I hope Milo and David can hook up at the Rainbow Bridge with Marty, Wimbley, and the rest of my heavenly mischief and have fun running around, sniffing and nibbling good stuffs, and cuddling together.

I know it’s hard to remember in the sharpness of early grief, but love is never lost, and Milo will live on in our hearts for ever.
