Important Proklamashun

Hear ye, hear ye…dis is your President.  I hereby proclaim dat today is Wimbley day, a day to reflect and honor him.  And from now on, all liberries will be known as The Wimbley Liberry. So whenever you check out a book, it will be from the Wimbley Liberry. I fink he would like dat. It is also my great honor to name him to the first position in my cabinet as Poet Laureate.  Since they hab internet in Heaben, he can still share his important poetic works wiff us and help us continue to raise the cultural lebel ob dis nashun.

All ob us here at Marty Mouse White House really appreciate all the touching comments and lub eberyone has shared wiff us about his passing.  The world mourns wiff us, but he would not want us to be sad, but remember all the happy times and good books.

This a most Wonderful Proklamashun. It brought tears to my eyes (yes….again….).
Such a beautiful way to honour Wimbley. I will now think of him everytime I check out a book here in The Netherlands, because my liberrie will, from now on, be a Wimbley Liberrie too. It is also good to learn Wimbley will still be part of your cabinet, being the Poet Laureate and I am looking forward to read his poems from heaben. Fibbs, you are doing great as our President, even better than I thought you would do. Love the picture of you and of Wimbley too.
    xoxo Francisca

Great idea to have all liberries named after Wimbley. He lubbed his books and poems so this is great way to remember him. Such a gentle soul. Look forward to his first poem from heaben. Hope Marty doesn’t mind sharing his Internet connection in heaben! ❤????????
